Only 20% of Gazan women work in the labor force. In order to increase these numbers, an entrepreneur program known as Gaza Sky Geeks (GSG) was started a few years ago and today, women run nearly 50% of the companies in the pipeline. (For comparison, in the U.S. only 5% of tech startups are run by women).
