Inspired by a similar event in Oslo, Norway last February, over a hundred Christians, Jews and Muslims gathered around the Islamic Center of Greater Cincinnati and formed a symbolic ‘peace ring’ around the mosque. Organizer Ericka King-Betts said she wanted to bring the same message of interfaith unity to Cincinnati and “to show support for all faiths, and especially for the Muslim community.”
