Call To Prayer in 50 States Ends On High Note

Last Friday night Jameel Syed finished his epic journey across America where he is believed to be the first person to recite the Islamic call to prayer in all fifty states, ending at the Islamic Association of Greater Detroit in Rochester Hills where he is the Muezzin (the person who delivers the call to prayer, five times a day). Says Syed of his travels, “It was an epic journey on some many levels.”
