As Program Manager for the Holocaust Memorial Museum’s Simon-Skjodt Center, Andrea Gittleman traveled to Myanmar in March to search for the early warning signs of genocide for the Rohingya Muslims and unfortunately, she found them. “Rohingya are so dehumanized, and so devalued in the country, [and these factors show] early warning signs of more mass atrocities and even genocide,” declares Ms. Gittleman.
