According to the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (UNOCHA), the ongoing Syrian war has brought 100,000 refugees to Yemen but now these refugees are facing a similar civil war in their new country. As one Syrian refugee says about the situation, “I believe Syrians in Yemen relate to the current conflict and its impact on their living conditions. They have lived the same scenario back in Syria. Many claim to have adapted to this situation and nothing surprises them any longer.”
