This past weekend was the 20th anniversary of the Srebrenica massacre – the killing of 7,000-8,000 Muslim men and boys by Serb forces in and around the town of Srebrenica during the Bosnian War. The war was fought primarily along ethno-religious lines, between Orthodox Christian Serbs, Muslim Bosniaks and Catholic Croats.
According to Pew Research, today’s Muslims make up about 45% of Bosnia-Herzegovina’s population, a slightly smaller share than that of Christians (52%) – which brings to question, how do Bosnia’s Muslims view Christians after these past two decades of war have passed?
