In Hungary, a controversial fence is in the finishing stages as the government plans to close its border with Serbia with the intention of keeping refugees and migrants out of their country.
In the last few weeks, tens of thousands of refugees, mostly Syrians, Iraqis and Afghans, have forged their way through the Balkans, hoping to reach Hungary before the fence goes up and the border is officially closed.
