The Daily Beast got some interview time with Muslim’s most famous teen next to Malala – clock-maker/tech-wiz, Ahmed Mohamed.
As journalist Randy Potts says in the piece, “Ahmed’s story struck such a nerve because the world saw a model student thrown in handcuffs like a suspect whose crime was being brown. Where most would see a kid holding a crude electronic clock, the school apparently saw a terrorist.”
During the interview, the reporter asks Ahmed if he’s ever heard of fifteen minutes of fame for which the 14 year old replies, “This is gonna be soooooo much longer.”
