1,700 baby carriers are stuffed inside a local Los Angeles storage locker due to Cristal Logothetis who started a kickstarter campaign to help Syrian parents. “Any picture or any footage you see, it’s of people carrying their babies in their arms,” says Ms. Logothetis. “I just couldn’t imagine how hard that must be.”
The Kickstarter campaign has been a massive success with $36,000 raised thus far. Before the end of the year, Ms. Logothetis will be making three trips – to Koss, Athens and Serbia – where she will be passing out the baby carriers and offering other assistance.
