Known as @queenofluna on Instagram, Saraswati is a Muslim-Malaysian makeup artist, who has amassed 261,000 followers by transforming herself into Disney characters while creatively working around her hijab.
Saraswati’s in character “snaps” includes Disney’s Ariel, Pocahontas and Tinker Bell. “Everything you do is absolutely fabulous keep doing you girl.” one fan posted and another commented, “You are so crazy talented I have so much respect for you.”
Saraswati response is perfect, “Who would have thought my hijab and make up artistry would send such a powerful message to the world?”
