Her resume is impressive — a graduate from NYU with a Masters in the Visual Arts who now lives in Brooklyn as a writer, filmmaker and teacher. Another thing that sets Ms. Mariam Ghani apart is that her father is Ashraf Ghani, the new president of Afghanistan.
Ms. Ghani’s work can currently be viewed in the Los Angeles’ Islam Arts Initiative which runs through the end of the year.
