New York Times presents a global take on the ‘star crossed lovers’ trope examining relationships in Palestine where one person lives in the West Bank, and the other in Gaza. Israel forbids Palestinians traveling from either region which means families are separated and loving relationships are put on hold indefinitely. This is the stuff of fiction, sad that it’s true.
