The impact of war in the Middle East and North Africa can be directly seen in this new generation of children where 15 million are currently out of school, and another 6 million are at high risk of dropping out.
These figures are per a new UN report which states, “As the violence expands, millions more are at risk of becoming a ‘lost generation,’ deprived of the knowledge and skills needed to be successful adults.”
