Nothing stopped this Afghan woman from getting an education and succeeding at life. By the time Shabana Basij-Rasikh was school-age, the Taliban had restricted female education and she was forced to attend a secret school with her sister. Well that secret school paid off because today Shabana is a Magna Cum Laude of Middlebury College, and co-founder of SOLA, the School of Leadership Afghanistan.
