British-Muslim boxing champ Amir Khan is rumored to be fighting Triple Welterweight World Champion Floyd Mayweather in September and in this BBC interview, he talks about how he’s able to train during Ramadan (for thirty straight days, Muslims fast during the daytime).
“It’s extremely tough but the motivation for me is that my opponents are sleeping whilst Amir Khan is training. It’s not really something a sportsman should be doing but that’s the sacrifices you have to make when you’re a Muslim,” declares Khan.
