“Shugs and Fats” is a new web comedy about two Muslim women who have recently immigrated to Brooklyn. It’s creator, Nadia Manzoor, says the intent is to offer an unseen perspective of Muslim women. “I’m totally hoping it will cause a lot of dialogue,” says Manzoor. “And also just make a lot of people laugh.”
