Malika MacDonald was one of the many volunteers who recently attended the Islamic Circle of North America (ICNA), and handed out 400 “blessing bags” filled with toiletries and food to people in need. “We have a religious obligation and need to help the needy. It is our faith that compels us to do this, particularly at this time. It shows what true Islam is,” says MacDonald.
