According to Business Insider, Dizin Ski Resort has some of the highest quality skiing in the Middle East, located two hours north of Tehran. Their ski season runs much longer than the U.S., from late November to late May, due to the base of the mountain sitting at 9,000 feet above sea level. The ski lifts reach as high as 12,000 feet.
