Belgium Muslims took it upon themselves to help raise money for a local Jewish synagogue in need of restoration. “It is important to save this synagogue for the families and children who find comfort and fraternity there,” declared a statement from the Association of Muslims of Arlon. “The Jewish community needs support to live fully — like all other faiths — in full freedom, security and comfort.”
