The L.A. Islam Arts Initiative, currently running in Los Angeles, presents the culture and art of Islam, with a clear mission of deflating stereotypes. The curator of the exhibit makes the point that the exhibits are very inclusive as Islamic culture often includes Sikhs, Armenians, and Jewish people living in predominantly Muslim countries.
