In response to the horrific Orlando shootings, the “Muslims United for Victims of Pulse Shooting” campaign is bringing together Muslim organizations across the country along with the Florida chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) to help the victims and families of those affected by the attack. According to NBC news, the campaign reached its first goal of $25,000 within hours, its second goal of $50,000 within two days, and has nearly accomplished its third goal of $75,000.
The organization will continue fundraising until Aug. 1.
