In 2012, Noor Tagouri posted an online photo of herself sitting at a news anchor’s desk with a caption that simply read “my dream.” The post went viral (see photo). Now, at twenty-one, Noor Tagouri wants to be the first hijab-wearing news anchor on U.S. commercial television.
