The Marvel Comics Universe is set to get a new Muslim hero this March when Issue 13 of the Magnificent Ms. Marvel is released.
Donning blue hair, the Arab-American superhero hails from Dearborn, Michigan and goes by the code name Amulet (his real name we find out is Fadi Fadlalah).” Writer Saladin Ahmed and Jordanian-American illustrator Sara Alfageeh co-created the character.
“As an Arab-American who basically learned to read from Marvel Comics, being able to team up with the phenomenally talented Sara Alfageeh to bring Amulet into the Marvel Universe is literally a dream come true,” enthuses Ahmed. “We can’t wait for fans to meet him!”
