Rabbi Charles Feinberg takes it wherever he goes. It’s a banner proclaiming in big bold letters: “Honor God — say no to anti-Muslim bigotry.”
Rabbi Charles Feinberg is executive director of “Interfaith Action for Human Rights,” and has joined forces with “Shoulder-to-Shoulder” (an interfaith group combating Islamophobia) and “T’ruah” (a Jewish human rights group) to promote the banner which they plan to hang in churches, synagogues and other houses of worship.
“We would love to see many, many communities — many different religious communities — display it on their properties as a sign of support and as a way to counter some of the hate speech in our communities,” proclaimed Rabbi Feinberg at a recent interfaith gathering.
