In December, anti-Muslim sentiment was at an all-time high in Sydney, Australia after a man who called himself a Muslim cleric took a number of people hostage at a local cafe, sadly leaving two dead. Soon after, the Twitter campaign #illridewithyou called on Sydney residents to show their solidarity with the Muslim community… and it more than worked.
