Established in 2012, the Jerusalem Youth Chorus brings together young Palestinians and Israelis for “singing and dialogue sessions.” The group does not ignore the political situation and allows for an ongoing dialogue, monitored by professional facilitators, while producing music together. “If you consider it, people are not only political objects. They have lives; they want to connect,” says group founder, Micah Hendler, a Maryland native.
