In this radio clip, Fresh Air’s Terry Gross interviews author and activist Maajid Nawaz who in 2002 was jailed for extremist activities. Since his release, a reformed Nawaz went on to co-found the think-tank Quilliam which is dedicated to countering extremist beliefs. A must listen!
