Hundreds of Muslims showed up last Wednesday in Austin for “Texas Muslim Day.” Unfortunately, hecklers and protestors tried to drown out the speakers. However Alia Salam, executive director of CAIR-Dallas Forth Worth, took it in stride and told the crowd, “When you see that out there, that’s America. That’s a good thing.”
