Launching this fall in the Middle East and North Africa is a talk show called “Nida’a” which means “the calling” in Arabic. Hosted by Iraqi-American journalist and activist Zainab Salbi, the TLC show is specifically geared for Arab women, and has already booked such A-list guests as President Bill Clinton, fashion designer Donna Karan and Egyptian actress Yusra.
“The ‘Nida’a’ show aims at inspiring, supporting and empowering young Muslim and Arab women to achieve their full potential in society,” says Ms. Salbi.
