Over the weekend in London, a knife attack in a subway station sadly injured three people but the words of a stranger have lead to a social media movement.
While the suspect was being held down, a bystander exclaimed in disgust: “You ain’t no Muslim, bruv!” (“Bruv” is London slang for “bro”).
The incident was widely discussed on social media, with the hashtag #YouAintNoMuslimBruv trending worldwide on Twitter, and many Muslims took ownership of the quote.
